To reach the heights of Evian and Neuvecelle more quickly, you can take the free funicular (open spring/summer).
You’ll pass the historic hotels: le Royal*****, l’Hermitage**** and la Verniaz****, and from the top you’ll enjoy views of the lake and town.
The descent takes you through various hamlets and along the Evian golf course. You’ll reach the railway station and walk along the lake back to the starting point.
